In a bustling, little town
I’m not sure of the latitude
Stands a spacious, brick building
with a nautical attitude

Some are astounded, “Is this really true?
Calm ocean, clear skies, a perfect blanket of blue”
While others declare, upon seeing this sight
“It’s amazing! In Apex! A seafarer’s delight!”

Inside, at each table, many guests laugh and talk
As very nice servers practically run as they walk
Among sailboats and mermaids, lighthouses and such
Is a restaurant defined by a warm, friendly touch

The murals are colorful, such a dreamy sensation
Thanks to Carlos Lomeli and his vivid imagination
And while you are reading this whimsical rhyme
Did we happen to mention, Ocean Stars is divine

The crab legs and flounder are as fresh as you please
And the crispy, fried shrimp is a taste-tempting tease
There are salmon and scallops and oysters galore
“By mighty Neptune,” I swear,
“Is this not the seashore!”

So sit down and relax, we will find you a chair
Our aim is to make sure your dinner’s right there
And when people inquire,
“Why all the fuss and excitement?”
Our satisfied guests furnish clever enticement...
